3. Enrolment
3.1 Eligibility
Our programmes are designed for adults aged 18 and above. By enrolling, you confirm that you meet this requirement. We reserve the right to decline any enrolment at our discretion.
3.2 Enrolment Confirmation
Your enrolment is confirmed only upon receipt of full payment (or a mutually agreed deposit, if applicable) and written confirmation from Numisma. Submitting an enquiry or expression of interest does not constitute a binding enrolment.
3.3 Programme Capacity
Each programme intake has a limited number of places. Completion of an enquiry form does not guarantee availability. We will notify you promptly if a programme is full and, where possible, offer placement in a future intake.
4. Fees and Payment
4.1 Programme Fees
All fees are quoted in Malaysian Ringgit (RM) and are inclusive of any applicable materials, worksheets, and reference cards described in the programme outline. Fees do not include travel, meals, or any third-party resources unless specifically stated.
4.2 Payment Terms
Full payment is due prior to the commencement of the first session, unless a written instalment arrangement has been agreed. Payment details will be provided upon confirmation of your enrolment.
4.3 Receipts
A payment acknowledgement will be issued for all fees received. Please retain this for your records.
5. Cancellations and Refunds
5.1 Cancellation by Participant
- More than 14 calendar days before the first session: Full refund, less any applicable bank transaction charges.
- 7 to 14 calendar days before the first session: 50% refund of the programme fee.
- Fewer than 7 calendar days before the first session: No refund is available. You may, however, transfer your place to another individual by notifying us in writing.
- After the programme has commenced: No refund is available for completed or missed sessions.
All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing to hello@numisma. The cancellation date is the date on which we receive your written request.
5.2 Cancellation by Numisma
Numisma reserves the right to cancel or reschedule a programme intake due to insufficient enrolment, unforeseen circumstances, or events outside our reasonable control. In such cases, enrolled participants will receive a full refund of fees paid. We are not liable for any consequential costs (such as travel or accommodation) incurred in connection with a cancelled programme.
6. Attendance and Participation
To benefit fully from each programme, participants are encouraged to attend all scheduled sessions. If you are unable to attend a session, please notify us as early as possible. Session recordings or make-up arrangements are not available as a standard offering, though we will make reasonable efforts to support participants on a case-by-case basis.
Numisma reserves the right to remove a participant from a programme — without refund — if their conduct is disruptive, disrespectful to the facilitator or other participants, or incompatible with the collaborative learning environment we aim to maintain.
7. Programme Materials
All materials provided during a programme — including worksheets, reference cards, annotated reports, and digital resources — are prepared by Numisma for the personal use of enrolled participants. They may not be reproduced, shared commercially, or distributed to third parties without our prior written consent.
Materials sourced from third-party providers (such as Bursa Malaysia annual reports used as teaching references) remain the property of their respective owners. Their use in our programmes is for educational illustration purposes only.
8. Nature of Information Provided
The content delivered in Numisma programmes is educational and informational. It is intended to improve participants' general financial understanding and is not tailored to any individual's specific financial situation, investment portfolio, estate, or tax position.
Nothing communicated during a session, in programme materials, or through our website constitutes:
- Financial advice within the meaning of the Capital Markets and Services Act 2007
- Legal advice with respect to wills, trusts, or estate planning
- Tax advice or recommendations
We strongly encourage participants to consult appropriately licensed professionals — including licensed financial planners, solicitors, and tax agents — before making any significant financial, legal, or estate-related decisions.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by Malaysian law, Numisma shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential loss or damage arising from:
- Any financial decision made by a participant based on programme content
- Errors or omissions in programme materials
- Any interruption or cancellation of a programme beyond our reasonable control
- Any technical issues affecting access to online discussion groups or digital materials
Our total liability to any participant in connection with a programme shall not exceed the total fee paid by that participant for that programme.
10. Privacy
Your personal data is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms and Conditions.
11. Intellectual Property
All content on the Numisma website — including text, graphics, logos, and programme descriptions — is the property of Numisma and is protected under applicable Malaysian and international intellectual property law. You may not reproduce, republish, or distribute any content from our website without prior written permission.
12. Amendments
We may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time. The version published on our website at the time of your enrolment will apply to your participation in the relevant programme. Material changes will be communicated to enrolled participants by email where reasonably practicable.
